"An act of love and solidarity that inspires all of us!
Sofia, Manuel, and Santiago, three siblings from the United States, whose parents are from Bahia Blanca, showed solidarity with the city after the 2023 storm and created White Harbor to help schools of Bahia Blanca. White Harbor donated a variety of supplies to different educational institutions. This afternoon, White Harbor delivered 5 instruments to the Orquesta Miramar School, where every week the children meet to rehearse and learn more about music and culture. This act of commitment to education and music comes at a special time because the Orchestra School grew enormously this year. The school grew from 13 musicians per rehearsal to 60! Next year, it will reach 5 more neighborhoods!

"New instruments for the Orchestra School! White Harbor, an organization formed by three siblings from the United States with parents from Bahía Blanca, donated five instruments to the Orquesta School.
In this Orchestra, the musical education offered is free and open to all children from 6 to 18 years old.
Thank you Sofia, Manuel and Santiago for your generosity in delivering the instruments so that the students of our city can continue learning music.

The need of the Orchestra Barrio Miramar
​Orchesta School Barrio Miramar is a social and artistic program that offers free musical education to vulnerable children and young adults. The students not only develop musical skills but also have the possibility to build a professional future. Moreover, the program promotes the participation of all sectors of the city of Bahia Blanca creating a sensitive and creative community.
The Orquesta Escuela Barrio Miramar needed to incorporate musical instruments for the learning of the 51 students enrolled for the 2024 school year. The students need to practice but they didn't have enough instruments for everyone. Many of the students had to sit waiting for their turn to practice. This same situation was repeated in the Orchestra's performances where some of the students had to watch their classmates play in public because they didn't have instruments.

White Harbor raised the funds to help the Orchestra Escuela Barrio Miramar to buy 3 new cellos and 2 new trumpet.
